The Training & Placement Cell (TPC) at Golaghat Engineering College is dedicated to empowering students with the skills and opportunities needed to launch successful careers. It is mandatory for the students to attend yoga classes for 21 days during the induction program in addition to the academics. The freshers come in contact with their seniors in controlled manner to create a discipline which is very much essential for the growth of the new entrants. The institute provides value education so that the students not only excel in academic but also can contribute to the growth of the nation. Our TPC works tirelessly to connect students with reputable organizations and industries, ensuring a smooth transition from academic life to the professional world. The students are taught AutoCAD at the professional level in the 3rd semester and become conversant with softwares like python, staadpro, solidworks etc. as they proceed to higher semester. We facilitate internships with top organizations, such as ONGC, IOCL, NRL, OIL, and CPCB, enabling students to gain invaluable hands-on experience during their studies. Additionally, we provide opportunities for internships at premium institutes, such as IITs, NITs, and other Institutes of National Importance, broadening student exposure to advanced research and laboratory environments. In short, we strive to develop leadership and entrepreneurial qualities, so as to make a student employable.
In addition to internships, the TPC organizes campus interviews for final-year students, bringing esteemed companies directly to our campus. Our collaborations extend to renowned institutions like NEIST and IIT, providing advanced research and laboratory opportunities to broaden student learning.
